SPRING 2027 ENROLLMENT OPENS NOVEMBER 9, 2026!

A calm, home-based learning environment offering small-group enrichment, early learning support, and meaningful connections.

WholeSchool Educational Enrichment is a calm, relationship-centered micro-group learning environment for young children. With a maximum of three children per session, WholeSchool offers individualized support, predictable routines, peer connection, and hands-on learning in a warm home-based setting.

WholeSchool was created and is personally led by Mrs. Kelly Smith, whose work with children spans public schools, preschools, homeschool, and learning spaces for children with diverse needs. Her approach is shaped by the belief that children learn best through calm connection, consistent routines, and trusted relationships.

Our Purpose
To nurture confident young learners through relationship-centered, small-group educational enrichment.
Our Vision
A learning environment where children feel seen, understood, and holistically supported in their academic, social, and emotional growth.
Our Approach
Children learn best through meaningful relationships, predictable routines, hands-on practice, and supportive connection.

A gentle first-school experience helping children build comfort away from a parent/caregiver while practicing group routines, peer play, and classroom participation.

Foundations blends purposeful play, peer learning, and early academics for children ready to engage more independently in a small-group setting and take their next steps toward school.

Hands-on learning, foundational skill building, and social-emotional development support children as they prepare for kindergarten or first grade.

Small-group learning that builds on existing skills through hands-on activities, academic reinforcement, and social-emotional development, encouraging greater independence as children prepare for the next school year.

WholeSchool operates from a dedicated lower-level classroom in a private residence in Waynesboro, PA. The classroom space is designed specifically for small-group learning and is separate from the main living areas of the home.
Cats reside in the home but are not present in the classroom space during program hours. Families with allergy concerns are encouraged to inquire prior to enrollment.
WholeSchool is a structured, small-group educational enrichment program, not a childcare center. Enrollment is intentionally limited to three children per session to provide individualized attention, consistent routines, and relationship-centered support.
WholeSchool maintains current pediatric CPR and first aid certification, required background clearances, and clearly defined safety procedures appropriate to a small-group home-based learning environment. Documentation is available upon request.
WholeSchool supports children as they build independence, confidence, and comfort within a small-group setting. Children do not need to have everything mastered, but the program is best suited for children who can follow basic directions and participate with adult guidance without needing ongoing redirection or constant support to stay engaged throughout the session.
WholeSchool welcomes children with a range of learning styles and needs, including neurodivergent learners, when they can comfortably participate in a small-group setting. WholeSchool is not a therapeutic program and is not designed to provide continuous one-to-one support. Program fit is discussed individually during the enrollment process.
1. Submit an application.
2. Participate in a brief consultation to discuss your child’s needs, readiness, and whether WholeSchool can support your child well at this time.
3. Enrollment is confirmed based on available space and whether the program appears to be a good fit for your child’s current needs, readiness, and overall group cohesiveness.
Yes. After the Zoom consultation, families may request a brief, scheduled classroom visit before making a final enrollment decision.
Intro to Preschool and Foundations for Early Learning are semester-based programs, with rolling admission when space permits. Families joining after the semester begins enroll for the remaining sessions at a prorated tuition rate. Installment payments are offered as a convenience and do not establish month-to-month enrollment.
We understand that family circumstances can change. If withdrawal becomes necessary, refund eligibility depends on when notice is received. Full or partial refunds may be available before the semester begins and during the initial adjustment period. Specific refund terms and dates are provided before enrollment.
