Summer Bridge for rising kindergarten and first-grade learners offers a supportive small-group experience that combines hands-on learning, foundational skill building, and social-emotional development.
With no more than three children per group, instruction is responsive to individual learning needs and developmental readiness.

Exploring emotions, building friendships, practicing cooperation, and navigating group experiences
Exploring letters, sounds, vocabulary, and early reading skills through stories, games, and shared reading
Developing number sense and exploring patterns, counting, and problem-solving through hands-on activities
Practicing routines, communicating needs, caring for materials, and participating with growing independence
Encouraging curiosity and imagination through stories, movement, games, and purposeful play
For children entering kindergarten or first grade, Summer Bridge offers opportunities to strengthen foundational skills, build peer connections, and practice classroom routines that support a confident transition into the school year.
Summer Bridge welcomes children with a range of learning experiences, abilities, and developmental needs, including neurodivergent learners.
Children should be ready to participate in a small-group, drop-off setting with gentle guidance and follow basic safety directions.
