Intro to Preschool

A Gentle Bridge Into Group Learning

Intro to Preschool is a small-group, drop-off experience designed to help young children build comfort with early school routines, peer interaction, communication, and beginning independence.

Each group is intentionally limited to three children, allowing for close guidance, meaningful connection, and a calm environment where children can be gently supported as they learn and participate.

Sessions follow a predictable rhythm that includes guided play, early learning activities, stories, snack, outdoor play, and opportunities to practice sharing, listening, cooperation, and classroom participation.

Semester Structure

How the Series Works

Intro to Preschool includes 16 sessions across a 16-week semester, organized into four sequential learning series. Children attend once weekly in a consistent small group, building comfort, independence, and beginning group participation. Rolling admission is available when space permits, with tuition prorated for children joining after the semester begins.

Series 1: Social Foundation

Building comfort away from a parent/caregiver, connecting with peers, and learning early group routines

Series 2: Guided Participation

Practicing turn-taking, cooperative play, listening, and participating in shared activities

Series 3: Early Learning Exploration

Exploring early literacy, numeracy, language, and problem-solving through play

Series 4: Bringing Learning Together

Applying familiar routines, social-emotional skills, and early learning concepts with growing confidence and independence
