Summer Bridge for rising second- and third-grade learners provides a supportive small-group experience that strengthens foundational academic skills while encouraging greater independence, collaboration, and confidence.
With no more than three children per group, instruction is responsive to individual learning needs and developmental readiness.

Exploring reading, vocabulary, and comprehension through engaging texts and discussion
Organizing and expressing ideas through guided and creative writing activities
Reinforcing foundational math skills through hands-on activities, games, and problem-solving
Practicing self-direction, taking responsibility for learning tasks, and following through with confidence
For children entering second or third grade, Summer Bridge offers opportunities to reinforce academic skills, strengthen learning habits, build peer connections, and practice independence in preparation for the coming school year.
Summer Bridge welcomes children with a range of learning experiences, abilities, and developmental needs, including neurodivergent learners.
Children should be ready to participate in a small-group, drop-off setting, follow basic safety directions, and engage in learning activities with guidance as needed.
